Frank Klepacki - Hell March 1 + 2

The shiznit that you are to hear are compositions of Frank Klepacki. Also known as the man who composed the soundtrack for the Red Alert series.

Although I've never played the first Red Alert game before, the music brought it home. All that is visualised are Soviet troops marching with heavily industrialised factories in the background.

Hell March 2 has to be the best Hell March out of the three. When comparing the three, number two feels more refined and doesn't lack any "oomph". Then again, it also feels like a more condensed version of Hell March 1. Why I say that is even though the first one is epic, it feels more drawn out with the guitars repeating over and over until the end.

As for Hell March 3? Utter rubbish, with the added trumpets it sounds more like a James Bond piece than that of Red Alert.

  2. Command and conquer, didn't they make a movie based on the game?. It's definitely of its time period the music, . Now with games like gta, they use famous songs or let you upload your own. I wonder what game players who were stuck with Pong or pacman had to do?. A comb and a piece of paper?
