N - No Mercy

I dunno why but I've had a strange feeling all day, something which I haven't felt in 2 years.

Do you ever get that feeling of just doing something not because you want to but because 'your body/mind wants to'? It's kinda hard to explain the feeling unless I'm showing it to you in person but I'll try anyway. Say for example, the dishes are piling up and even though you don't want to do it, you do it anyway? No excuses, like "I'll do them later" or anything like that. It was as if I had no control over my body. It felt awesome though, I did things like I didn't give a damn hahaha.

I'm pretty sure it was 'depersonalisation' but anyway...

M - Master and Mentor

Sorry guys, lazy as fuark today and yesterday... and the days before them...

I'll have to really get a move on with this challenge, I call myself a man and I don't go against the adverse conditions... But that's enough about my life story for one day.

Artist's Bio - Les Friction

Les Friction is an independent music group led by Helmut Vonlichten, Nihl Finch and a singer named "Paint". They produce epic trailer/rock/ballad music in keeping with two of the group member's past in E.S. Posthumus.

The group sprung up more than a year after the death of one of the member's brother (Franz Vonlichten) of undisclosed circumstances in 2010. Helmut being an archaeology graduate from UCLA imported his use of grand and historical-like feel to the band's music. Whereas Nihl was also involved with E.S.P. in the music development is now part of the band. Paint is a mystery singer who provides the vocals to all of their music where it emphasises their music to a whole new level.

"Paint" was never part of E.S. Posthumus but rather a new addition to the already broken group.

K - Kronos - Two Steps From Hell

Sup guys, won't really be a lot of proper posting from me because I just got a new volunteer job and I'm trying my best to not to lose this one. I needed something to beef up my resume you know? :P

Plus I'll probably be introducing a new system for all the music that I'm going to review.

So until that, please accept my sincerest of apologies as I most likely will not be able to post anything worth reading until next week. With the job and all...

Stay classy,

Artist's Bio - Joe Hisaishi

Mamoru Fujisawa or more commonly known by his stage name as Joe Hisaishi is a Japanese composer whose extensive career dates back to 1981.

To us in the west he is most known for his work in Hayao Miyazaki's films; most notably Spirited Away (2001), My Neighbor Totoro (1988) and Laputa (1986) to name a few. Hisaishi’s compositions for Miyazaki’s films link to the naïve wonder of youth, or child-like emotions. Not only did he compose for animated films but also for normal films. Joe Hisaishi is also recognized for the soundtracks he has provided for filmmaker 'Beat' Takeshi Kitano, including A Scene at the Sea (1991), Dolls (2002), Kikujiro (1999) and many others.

I - I Love You Forever - Two Steps From Hell

Nothing really special or love related to talk about today so I apologise if the title misled you. Although the piece in this post relates to what I'm going to talk about.

What do you know, there may be something worth talking about!

For those of you that don't know what a Renaissance Man is or what being one is about then you might want to read on as I'll try to explain in as much detail in as little time while still being on subject.

Read on, I know you're curious...

G - Goth - 615 Music

Seriously, what makes Good Friday so "good"?

Sup guys, first of all I hope you had a most excellent Good Friday! You know, it's kinda weird how this Friday in particular is labelled as "good" where a man who goes by the name of Jesus got crucified. Then the whole Christian world commemorates his crucifixion with a choice of chocolate eggs and rabbits. Kinda funny how that works eh?

Moving on...

Epic Trailer Music showcases different pieces of music from different groups that have made cinematic, theatrical and trailer music. The website is dedicated to introducing trailer music as not just the rapport of band and choir, nor just the partnership of songs and movies, but as a natural power that holds a group. We are lovers of this genre of music and want to enjoy the composers that make it.

As this genre of music is not considered by the public, their presence is obscured. Some previously unknowns though have made it big in the business and some are already big and continue to make it big.

What is "epic music"?

Epic, while an often overused concept, is subject to the person's taste and feeling, but to us it is amazing orchestral music that promotes back tingling choral sound. Its all-encompassing melodies and breathtaking harmonies. Its compelling guitars, imposing sound design, and larger than life percussion. Epic music is used primarily in movie trailers and video games, not to mention TV shows.

Trailer music can motivate

The pieces can solicit a myriad of feelings depending on the listener but some, if not most pieces are open for interpretation. That being said, these pieces can make your day feel like crap or give you a sense of empowerment to help you get on with the tasks that may lie ahead.

I believe that anyone who enjoys this type of music has been gifted to see true beauty. While most are blind in this emotionless world of riches, corruption and violence; we see what most don't and this music makes us special.

F - Fountain of Life - Two Steps From Hell

Hey guys, it's Good Friday now although I struggle to think what's so good about Jesus getting crucified on a cross.

I won't say much at all today I'm afraid for in the previous day I got invited to a Jehovah's Witness meeting about Easter. I got to meet lots of new people for different religions and got some insight into some. It was pretty profound to be quite honest and the speaker knew was he was talking about as he got everyone in the room questioning after wards.

E - Exercise and women (true story)

I saw a post made by Luigi Man in his weight loss blog about how women look at fit men's bums and it reminded me of something related happened to me when I was in my senior of high school.

There's a story in here somewhere so leave now if you can't be bothered, I won't hate you. ;P

D - Dominion - Position Music

JUST finished watching "The Walking Dead" season 1 on DVD today (finally). I have read the comics from issue 1 to 90 at my local library and it is better than any comic that I've read, EVER. Well considering that it was the first and only comic that I've read ever. But yeah, the story seems to lean on more to the human aspect of the whole apocalypse which is probably what got me hooked in the first place.

C - Crysis 2 OST - Multiple Composers

Crysis 2 is no doubt one brilliant game, it is so brilliant in fact that it was the most downloaded game in 2011. I didn't download it of course *iamhintingthatimwinking*. But what can NEARLY correlate with it's good story, visuals and overall gameplay is its soundtrack which pretty much moulds everything together.
